Operations advisors from CFC Technology's Advisory Services Group will assume complete responsibility or will team with a financial institution in the development, maintenance and deployment of its Business Continuity Plan. 
 
The Advisory Services Group's approach to Business Continuity Planning is to collaborate as a team with the institution's staff assigned to operations and disaster recovery to draft a plan whose contents are clearly actionable and delivers confidence if the plan is ever used. 
 
The plan encompasses the people, processes and infrastructure that are prevalent throughout an institution's enterprise. It not only takes into account technology issues and possible ramifications caused by a disaster; it also addresses the impact of a failure or disaster on an institution's business procedures and strategies. 
 
The operations advisor's role also is committed to keeping the plan continually updated and relevant to current situations, including ongoing staff, policy and technology changes. They also can remain active in an institution's overall BCP program by assisting in staff training and in the testing of the plan.
